A CF-18 Hornet based out of 4 Wing Cold Lake will conduct a flyby as part of the opening ceremonies to the 2016 Prairie Gran Fondo, being held to the south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Sunday July 10, 2016.

The flyby will make its way over the German Cultural Centre from the north, along Chief Whitecap Trail just south of the neighborhoods of Nutana and Exhibition at approximately 7:30 a.m. Residents of these areas can expect a temporary yet abrupt increase in noise.

The aircraft will conduct the flyby at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest obstacle and will be in constant contact with local air traffic control services.
