Adopt a Cat During the Ontario SPCA's "iAdopt Urgent Appeal" Adoption Blitz

NEWMARKET, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 7, 2016) - Ontario SPCA animal centres across the province will be taking part in an "iAdopt Urgent Appeal" adoption blitz this weekend to help find homes for the recent influx of cats and kittens in their care. By adopting a cat this weekend, you can help ensure space becomes available for other cats in need.

The iAdopt Urgent Appeal will run this Friday, July 8 to Sunday, July 10 at Ontario SPCA animal centres across the province with a goal of getting as many cats as possible placed into loving fur-ever homes.

During this urgent appeal adoption blitz, ALL CATS will be available for adoption for $25 each. All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, come with a gift of six weeks of pet insurance and are up to date with their vaccines.

"If you are able to welcome a cat into your home, please consider adopting during our iAdopt Urgent Appeal," says Tonya Martin, Director, Animal Centres & Humane Programming, Ontario SPCA. "The Ontario SPCA is in the business of saving lives and we need your help to continue to change animals' lives."
