XinGang Teams With Vesper on New Piezoelectric MEMS Microphones

SHANDONG, CHINA--(Marketwired - Jul 11, 2016) - XinGang Electronics Co., Ltd (XinGang), a leading supplier of electro-acoustic products, today announced a relationship with Vesper, a designer of advanced acoustic-sensing technology, for the commercialization of piezoelectric MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) microphones for smartphones, wearables and Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices.

Vesper's first piezoelectric MEMS microphone will be integrated into XinGang's product portfolio of MEMS microphones for consumer-electronics products. As piezoelectric MEMS devices, Vesper's microphones are natively waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and particle-resistant -- unique features that make them attractive to manufacturers who want to offer the most stable and reliable products to consumers. Vesper's microphones also feature very high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and very low noise, delivering outstanding acoustic performance for the voice-enabled applications on which we rely daily.
