GoodData Accelerates Its Global Expansion

Company Adds International Data Centers, Localization Features and International Sales Personnel to Increase Global Footprint

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 12, 2016) - GoodData, providers of technology and expertise that enable organizations to commercialize and monetize their data, have launched several strategic initiatives to expand and accelerate their international business. These include updates to their platform, services offerings, and the expansion of its international sales force.

"We founded GoodData as a cloud company because the cloud has no barriers to scale to new markets," said Roman Stanek, Founder and CEO of GoodData. "We're now taking GoodData to the next level in the international SaaS marketplace."

As of 2016, nearly 50 percent of GoodData's end users access the platform from outside of the United States. To support these international customers and their growing data security requirements, as well as grow new international business, GoodData has expanded its global sales organization and is in process of opening its second international data center. Finally, to better benefit its international customer base GoodData has updated its software platform to provide localization in half a dozen languages including German, French, Japanese and Portuguese.

"GoodData invests heavily in our platform, taking feedback directly from our Customer Advisory Board," said Blaine Mathieu, Chief Marketing and Product Officer. "We heard the requirement our customers have for GoodData to continue enhancing its global infrastructure and support, and we are confident that these investments will further drive GoodData's growth."

These enhancements build on GoodData's proven international track record, which includes a long-standing partnership with TOTVS, the largest enterprise software company in Latin America and one of the 10 largest software companies in the world.

"The partnership between TOTVS and GoodData has allowed us to grow our customer base to hundreds of thousands and significantly increase our channel presence. Three years into our partnership, both companies continue to demonstrate our commitment to growing the Latin America digital business transformation," says Mario Almeida, TOTVS's head for mobility and platforms.

According to GoodData, this push toward globalization is a key part of their mission to change the economics of data by transforming it from a cost-center into a revenue-producing profit center that delivers net-new value for businesses.
