GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - July 15, 2016) -

This document corrects and replaces the press release that was sent on June 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm ET (and re-issued today at 2pm ET). The lane closures were changed.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists of lane closures on the Alexandra Bridge.

The Ottawa- and Gatineau-bound lanes will be closed from:

• 7 pm Saturday, July 16, 2016, to 7 am on Sunday, July 17, 2016.

In case of inclement weather, the closure will take place from:

• 7 pm Saturday, July 23, 2016, to 7 am on Sunday July 24, 2016.

The boardwalk will remain open. Pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected.

The closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
