Ami James Brands Appoints Darren Brass to Strategic Advisory Board

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - Aug 12, 2016) - Ami James Brands, Inc. (OTCQB: AJBI) ("Ami James Brands" or "Company"), a licensing and brand management company which has evolved from its roots in the tattoo industry, is pleased to announce that Darren Brass, world renowned tattoo artist and original cast member of TLC's reality show "Miami Ink," has been appointed to the Company's Strategic Advisory Board.

Darren is known for his big and bold designs in the world of tattoo and human artistry. ‎However, it's also Darren's vast experience over the past 12 years in creative development with major brands in the categories of children's apparel, sneakers, artwork, and editorial illustrations that make him an ideal member of the Ami James Brands team of advisors.

Darren has worked for major ad agencies like Bernstein & Andriulli where his focus was on illustration projects. From there, Darren had a successful run with Quicksilver subsidiary DC Shoes, an "action sports" footwear, accessory, and apparel company rooted in skateboarding and snowboarding. During this time, Darren was responsible for the creation and design of five sneaker styles for DC Shoes, from the artwork on the shoes, right down to the materials used to construct them.

In 2008, Darren collaborated with Gibson and "Rock the Vote" to custom hand-design a one-off Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar. Darren also designed a 90 year anniversary custom cap that was used in a gallery show and book for New Era Caps. Darren then co-founded children's lifestyle brand "Ruthless & Toothless" which integrated Darren's styles and designs into a one of a kind children's line.
