Lever Reaches Diversity Milestone With Appointment of CFO Eileen Treanor

Treanor hire brings employee gender ratio to 50:50 as Lever helps businesses globally source and build talented, diverse workforces


SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 18, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lever, the recruiting software platform for more than 1,000 fast-growing companies around the world including Netflix, Lyft, Eventbrite and Shopify, today announces Eileen Treanor as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Treanor’s hiring not only brings a wealth of fiscal expertise and experience to the Lever team, but also elevates the company’s executive team to 43 percent female and raises Lever’s overall gender ratio to 50:50 – a milestone that Lever co-founder and CEO Sarah Nahm has been vocal about achieving.

Treanor’s appointment also reflects Lever’s commitment to ensuring the company maintains a diverse leadership team and board of directors. Today, 47 percent of all people managers at Lever are female. Additionally, as part of Lever’s recent Series B funding, Scale Venture Partners’ Stacey Bishop joined Lever’s board of directors – bringing Lever’s female board representation to 40 percent.

In her new role, Treanor will be responsible for leading Lever’s financial operations and investment strategy, scalable policies and procedures to support growth as well as being a strategic liaison to the rest of the executive team as the company continues to gain market share in the hiring software industry. Before joining Lever, Treanor served as Vice President of Finance at entertainment fan site Wikia, where she managed the Controllership and FP&A functions,  built scalable business processes and procedures, and supported the Company during its aggressive growth.  She has also held high-level finance positions at Virgin America and Yahoo!. Treanor completed her undergraduate degree at DeMontfort University and achieved her MBA at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.  She also is a Certified Public Accountant in California and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
