Convictions Under the Fisheries Act, North Shore


QUÉBEC CITY, QUÉBEC CITY--(Marketwired - Aug. 22, 2016) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, has released a list of fishers fined in recent months for various offences under the Fisheries Act.

The fines imposed on the offenders total $11,025. The offenders are:

Jérémy Jones (Sept-Îles) Lobster fishing without a licence. lobster $1,500 2016-06-17
Samuel Thirnish (Sept-Îles) Possession of a female crab and possession of crabs smaller than the minimum legal size. crab $1,250 2016-06-17
