Symphony EYC Names Lisa Kinney US CPG Practice Lead

New Role to Focus on Delivering Value to CPG Organizations Through Superior Technology and Data Solutions

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Aug 25, 2016) - Symphony EYC, the leading provider of software and services for retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers, today announced the appointment of Lisa Kinney to the new position of United Sates CPG Practice Lead. At Symphony EYC, Kinney focuses on delivering value to Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organizations through superior technology and data solutions, including the new Symphony Retail Cloud offering. Kinney's current priority is implementing the Albertson's CCR (Customer Centric Retailing) program in collaboration with their CPG partners.

Symphony Retail Cloud solutions combine market data with best-in-class software to provide retailers and CPG companies with all of the real-time and role-based intelligence needed to achieve maximum bottom-line business results. For retailers, Symphony Retail Cloud helps to make the product and category trade-offs necessary to drive revenue growth two percent or more from an increase in trips and baskets from their best customers. For CPGs, these solutions enable deeper data-driven collaboration as well as the ability to influence consumer purchases resulting in increased brand share.

Kinney comes to Symphony EYC from Sagarmatha, where she was responsible for business development in North America. Prior to that, Kinney spent more than 10 years at dunnhumby; first, working collaboratively with dunnhumbyUSA's CPG partners; finally, as the Global Head of Manufacturer Practice. In this role, Kinney was responsible for assessing the marketplace, identifying priorities in the business (both in markets and with CPG partners) to test new thinking and methodologies required to advance dunnhumby's capabilities and market strength.

In addition, Kinney spent over a decade working for large companies within the CPG industry, such as ConAgra Foods and Miller Brewing Company, where she was a member of the first centralized team dedicated to The Kroger Co. in the alcoholic beverage industry, and as a Category Development Manager with Unilever.

"At Symphony EYC, I'll be taking the best practices blueprint I enjoyed creating and contributing to at Kroger, and with other global retailers, to deliver the strongest ROI in understanding and activating shoppers," said Lisa Kinney, US CPG Practice Lead, Symphony EYC. "I'm looking forward to building a strong team that will be driving mutual value between retailers and their CPGs through collaboration, technology and new big data capabilities; with our data footprint today and the enormous geographic scale coming in the near future, we have a tremendous opportunity to bring differentiated market-wide solutions to brand owners."

"With her forward-looking approach to optimizing the relationships between CPGs and retailers, Lisa Kinney promises to unlock heretofore untapped value in these highly critical relationships," said Brian Gillis, General Manager Americas, Symphony EYC. "Lisa also will be a critical contributor to our product strategy as we develop new offerings for CPG organizations."
