USFCR Client Wyatt Management Lands $41k Air Force Contract

THE WOODLANDS, TX--(Marketwired - September 20, 2016) - US Federal Contractor Registration client Wyatt Management has received a $41,107.62 contract from the U.S. Air Force to replace flooring in several rooms at the Air Force headquarters in Lackland, Texas.

Though the first federal contract the general contracting firm has received since completing its registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, the company sees this contract award as the start of the company's success as a government contractor.

"Receiving the notification of award was a really big day for us at Wyatt Management," said Brian Campbell, the company's Government Services Project Manager, "and we are very excited about beginning this aspect of our business."

Wyatt Management is a full-service general contracting firm that provides services to clients in the retail and restaurant industries, and prides itself on working closely with its clients to develop a plan and schedule that meets their deadline and budget.

Wyatt Management has been working with selected major retail and restaurant establishments for more than a dozen years, and has a history of highly satisfied clients, storeowners, and architects.

Campbell attributes the company's contracting success to training it received from US Federal Contractor Registration, which included developing a list of federal contacts, navigating fbo.gov, and learning how to best manage its resources effectively as opposed to blindly pursuing each contract that they might be able to fulfill.

"USFCR, our acquisition specialist Justin Jones, and our trainer, John Wayne, II, made sure that our company's certifications and registrations were accurate," said Campbell. "They made themselves available throughout the process, and were available to give us guidance when we needed it."

US Federal Contractor Registration helps clients complete the System for Award Management (SAM) Registration, develop winning bid strategies, and succeed as government contractors. In 2015, USFCR clients earned nearly $2 billion in government contracts.

Eric Knellinger, president of US Federal Contractor Registration, the world's largest third-party government registration firm, said that Wyatt Management's approach to bidding on federal contracts is how businesses -- no matter their size -- must approach federal contracting in order to receive.

"Over the years, I've seen companies take a spaghetti against the wall approach to contracting. They bid on any contract that they are qualified to fulfill, without considering if it's the right type of contract for their business," said Knellinger. "Success is developing and implementing a contract strategy that marries the company's experience, products, and services to a contracting officer's needs -- and Wyatt Management did just that."

Wyatt Management is licensed to work in the following states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin, and is HUB-certified in the state of Texas.
