CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Sept. 20, 2016) - Supporting Calgary Meals on Wheels and 100 Men Calgary, YYC Pizza Week returns to Calgary offering up pizza lovers all kinds of delicious and unique pizza creations from Friday, September 23 - Sunday, October 2.
Up to 50 of Calgary's best local pizza restaurants and food destinations will compete in a friendly pizza competition by featuring a signature pizza in one of four categories: Neapolitan, Thick Crust, Unique, or Gluten Free.
Partial proceeds from every pizza sold will benefit 2 charities this year: Calgary Meals on Wheels and 100 Men Calgary. The public can vote for their favourite pizza in each category via a text voting application. Winners will be announced the following week, and crowed winner for their category.
