Payments Leader Intrix Technology Acquires Maas Global Solutions

Acquisition Fuels Intrix' Strategic Growth Initiatives; Adds Paymentsite Gateway Products to Intrix Payments Offerings

ROSEVILLE, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 20, 2016) - Intrix Technology, Inc. (Intrix), a leading provider of payment processing services, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Maas Global Solutions (MGS) of Henderson, NV. Maas Global Solutions is a global transaction processing technology company that owns and operates Paymentsite, a cutting edge payments platform that includes end to end encryption and is certified for EMV (chip card) processing. The Paymentsite system is capable of processing more than 9 million transactions in a single day and is integrated with most US based processors.

The acquisition significantly enhances Intrix' technology capabilities, merchant base and vertical reach. Maas Global's strengths in technology-led distribution and experience in building a cutting-edge internet based payment processing infrastructure are highly complementary to Intrix' investments in technology and innovation. Intrix expects to accelerate sales and revenue growth by combining the Paymentsite brand of products with its Intrix Payment Gateway, to create a distinctive set of solutions.

"This transaction marks a major milestone for the company, dramatically enhancing our presence in large and growing industry verticals including Property Management and Education and transforming Intrix into one of the leading providers of integrated payments technology solutions in the world," said Jeffrey Connors, Chairman and CEO of Intrix. "By combining Maas Global's distribution network and innovative payment solutions with Intrix' technology platform and products, we are developing a payments eco-system that allows us to serve clients in new and exciting ways."

Maas Global developed Paymentsite so resellers, agents and merchants could have a state of the art, secure and fully redundant connection from their servers to the major merchant processors. The platform supports full retail payment processing (with terminals available for retail environments), including PIN Debit, Level II/III data and tokenization of the payment details, as well as Direct Marketing/MOTO and eCommerce. It offers P2P terminal encryption support, EMV, fraud services, integrations and mobile apps for merchants for Android and iPhone, including swipe device support. It can also be white labeled for ISOs needing a gateway of their own. A variation of the Paymentsite platform is used in Brazil as the primary Brazilian payments gateway, processing credit card payments as well as bank drafts (a popular form of payments in that market).

Under the terms of the deal, Intrix will acquire Maas Global's business assets and customer relationships, including strategic accounts in various sectors. Some Maas Global employees will also join Intrix.

In addition to directly serving merchants, Intrix provides agents with enhanced sales, marketing and processing functions to build their acquiring portfolio and provides ISV's and VARS with integrated solutions.
