Industry Veteran Gian Lombardi to Join STAQ as Chief Revenue Officer

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 22, 2016) -  STAQ, the integrations platform as a service (iPaaS) for digital media, today announced the appointment of Gian Lombardi to the executive team. Lombardi will serve as Chief Revenue Officer starting immediately. Lombardi has extensive digital advertising sales management experience, and deeply understands the intricacies of the digital advertising market. Lombardi comes to STAQ from White Ops, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer. Before that, he spent more than 7 years leading Eastern Sales for YuMe, and several years at PointRoll, where he lead North American Sales. Lombardi was also an early employee at DoubleClick, eventually holding the role of VP of Sales for the company.

"I couldn't be more excited to join STAQ," said Lombardi. "The number of different platforms and data sources companies interact with in digital media has grown exponentially, and the resulting complexity makes it harder for sellers to be profitable and buyers to be effective. STAQ not only eliminates manual labor, it empowers sellers to get the most from their inventory and for buyers to make faster and smarter decisions, creating much more efficient and profitable businesses. As someone who has been at the forefront of several important digital media innovations, it's clear how valuable STAQ is for the market."

STAQ streamlines reporting and analysis through integrations with hundreds of platforms across the entire digital advertising ecosystem. The company has seen lightning fast growth as publishers and advertisers race to improve profits and operations in an increasingly fragmented landscape. Lombardi will be charged with maintaining the company's leadership position, while growing the team and expanding into new client categories as quickly as possible.

"Lombardi is a perfect fit for STAQ," said James Curran, CEO of STAQ. "In a market that changes quickly, Lombardi has not only the tenacity to create success over the long term, but the foresight and experience to take advantage of immediate opportunities. This combination ensures that STAQ can continue to grow quickly now, and experience profitability while we mature as an organization."
