International Pipeline Exposition Expands to Showcase More Pipeline Technology to Industry Leaders

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - September 26, 2016) - International Pipeline Exposition (IPE) will welcome more than 6,500 registered attendees to the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre from Tuesday, September 27 to Thursday, September 29, 2016 for one of the world's most important pipeline industry events. The biennial show features over 2,000 unique companies coming together from 50 countries.

The 2016 show is the most comprehensive to date, expanding in floor space to the main level of the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre to provide more technology and innovation to meet the increasing demands of the industry.

New in 2016 IPE has partnered with CSA Group to feature technology demonstrations which enable industry professionals to access the services and products they need to succeed. The Early Careers Professional Program, run in partnership with YPAC on Thursday, September 29, will engage the next generation of pipeline leaders.

"Since its inception in 2000, International Pipeline Exposition continues to expand, not only in the number of participating companies, but also in significance to the exhibitors and attendees that continue to support it," says Nick Samain, Vice President, dmg :: events, organizers of International Pipeline Exposition. "Each edition, IPE continues to realize its position as the world's premier pipeline industry event. With the overwhelming response from exhibitors and attendees alike for this year's show, IPE is set to stand as a reassuring presence amidst recent opposition to pipeline development in Canada."

International Pipeline Exposition hours are Tuesday, September 27 from 12pm - 6pm, Wednesday, September 28 from 10am - 6pm, and Thursday, September 29 from 10am - 4pm.

Media are required to pre-register in order to obtain a show badge for the event and will need to provide accreditation (a piece of photo identification and an official business card) upon arrival at main registration, located on the upper level, North Building of the Calgary Telus Convention Centre.
