ADSTOCK, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 27, 2016) - The Government of Canada supports businesses that play a critical role in growing the economy and creating jobs to improve economic opportunity and security for Canadians.
The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, announced that Mahindra Canada-Est, Centre de distribution autorisé has been granted $350,000 in financial assistance, in the form of a repayable contribution, to start up a new business in the Adstock industrial park, in the Appalaches RCM. Mahindra Canada-Est will soon be opening its first Mahindra farm tractor assembly and distribution centre in Canada.
The financial assistance granted under CED's Canadian Initiative for the Economic Diversification of Communities Reliant on Chrysotile will be used for the construction of a 22,000-square-foot industrial building. The project will build up occupation of the Adstock industrial park and consolidate the enterprise base in this municipality.
