Brazen Brings Chat-Based Engagement to Online Recruiting Tools With the Launch of API and Single Sign On

Latest Features Help Employers Engage Talent Anytime, Anywhere Through Online Chat Interactions

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwired - Oct 3, 2016) - Brazen, a technology startup that provides real-time chat software for hiring and networking, today announced its latest enhancements to improve how companies make meaningful connections with talent. With a new API and single sign-on (SSO) functionality, Brazen continues to lead the market in helping employers use chat recruitment software to better engage their talent communities and convert more career site visitors into candidates.

"The ability to engage and connect with talent before they even apply helps to deliver an enhanced candidate experience, while equipping recruiters and hiring managers with the insights to make better informed decisions," said Ed Barrientos, CEO of Brazen. "Driven by our mission to provide clients with greater control, simplicity and connectivity, the development of our API further transforms how employers use chat-based recruiting to find their next great hires. By linking data from Brazen directly to their back-office systems and cloud services, employers benefit from a streamlined approach to build on the relationships formed during online events and accelerate the hiring process."

Through Brazen's scheduled chat sessions, companies can connect with candidates online and continue to engage them long after the initial contact. By introducing its API, companies can integrate the Brazen platform seamlessly into their existing business processes -- adding chat within the application process or on the career page. Information from the event can also be transferred to the ATS, helping employers gather important data about their candidates into a single database.

Brazen's API can be used to integrate Brazen with ATS and CRM applications, helping employers attract high-quality candidates and build engagement much sooner in the hiring process. As a result, employers can collect candidate data, such as contact information, resumes, chat transcripts, and more. By incorporating this information into the same system they use to store other crucial candidate data, employers can easily track their interactions with talent and work to build greater engagement.

Brazen also introduced Single Sign On (SSO) that enables Brazen customers to integrate Brazen into their existing applications. Customers can now invite participants to register for Brazen events from within their applications using the same credentials participants use to log into customer networks, applications and systems. SSO can be initiated directly from external customer applications or from the Brazen event login screen. Brazen supports SSO use industry standard protocols, including SAML 2.0, Open ID Connect, and Central Authentication Service (CAS), enabling customers to quickly set up SSO with Brazen.

"In introducing our API and SSO capabilities, Brazen continues to pioneer the use of chat and online events in the recruiting process," said Barrientos. "The result is a more connected approach that makes it easier for candidates to learn more about a company and what it can offer, while further facilitating how employers build engagement with their top candidates."

Brazen will showcase its newest capabilities at the 19th Annual HR Technology Conference & Expo, taking place October 4 - 7, 2016 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Conference attendees who wish to learn more about Brazen's API, ATS integrations and SSO capabilities are encouraged to visit the company at Booth No. 1451.
