Powin Energy Sells Subsidiaries Powin Mexico and Q Pacific Corporation to Finalize Transition from Powin Corporation

TUALATIN, OR--(Marketwired - Oct 27, 2016) - Powin Energy Corporation (OTCQB: PWON), a leading designer and developer of safe and scalable energy storage solutions for utilities, C&I, and EV fast-charging stations, announced today that the remaining manufacturing assets of the former Powin Corporation have been sold. These transactions finalize the transition towards pointing Powin Energy's full corporate focus onto their burgeoning energy storage business.

Q Pacific Corporation was sold to Weiping Cai for $200,000 cash plus a percentage of pre-tax income for fiscal years 2017-2019. Rolland Holdings Company purchased 99% of Powin Mexico's Series A Common Stock and 100% of its Series B Common Stock for $999,000 split between an upfront cash payment and interest-bearing monthly installments.
