The HVC-P2 module has a maximum recognition speed 10 times that of the previous model, which was introduced in March 2014. The HVC-P2 is offered in long-distance and wide-angle detection types, giving customers more choice to fit their application(s).

HVC-P2 can be utilized in varying environments including: home, outdoors and the workplace. Using the HVC-P2 to recognize people's needs can allow applications to provide a more comfortable lifestyle.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

• Lens choices between wide-angle type and long-distance type depending on detection distance and range needs
• Horizontal angles of views from approximately 50 to 90 degrees and vertical angles of view from approximately 40 to 70 degrees
• 10 OKAO Vision functions: body detection, face detection, hand detection, face direction estimation, gaze estimation, blink estimation, age estimation, gender estimation, expression estimation and face recognition
• User friendly -- easy implementation through USB or UART output
• HVC-P2 module consists of a camera and separate main board, connected via a flexible flat cable (FFC). This allows installation on the edge of a flat display unit, which was previously difficult with all-in-one units.
• Output image communication can be chosen from three types: 320x240 pixels, 160x120 pixels and no image output
