Actev Motors Ships the First Smart Electric Vehicle for Kids

Just in time for the holidays, the Arrow promises to immerse kids in a real driving experience with advanced performance and safety features inspired by technology in today's smartest vehicles. The Arrow Smart-Kart, sized for kids five to nine years old, is packed with safety features never before seen in a ride-on vehicle for kids. It combines the excitement of a real driving experience with the confidence of parental supervision via the Actev mobile app. The app connects to the Smart-Kart through its built-in WiFi access point and equips parents with several safety features:

• Adjustable maximum speed limit (up to 12 mph)
• Collision avoidance automatically stops the Arrow if an obstacle is detected
• Emergency stop button immediately halts the Arrow
• Geo-fencing assists parents in keeping the driver in a defined geographic area
• Inactivity timer alerts the parent if the Arrow is motionless for a selectable time period

In addition to the app-based safety features, the electric-powered Arrow avoids the fire risk, fumes and noise of gas-powered karts. The Arrow's smart Lithium-Ion battery recharges from a standard wall outlet, and batteries can easily be swapped for hours of non-stop fun.

Kids can customize their driving experience by adding a Formula Racecar Body Kit, Drift Rings and enhanced battery and recharging accessories. Soon, new accessories will be available for the Arrow including downloadable synthesized engine sounds from an online sound library, distance-sensing Smart Cones, laser tag sensors and gaming apps. Additionally, the Actev app will soon let kids monitor their stats such as total drive time and total distance.
