Kaltura and SWISS TXT Partner to Provide European Video Cloud

BIEL, SWITZERLAND and NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - November 03, 2016) - Kaltura, the leading video technology provider, and SWISS TXT, the digital subsidiary of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, have partnered to enable European customers to take advantage of the popular Kaltura SaaS video platform, hosted locally at the state-of-the-art SWISS TXT European data center, which complies with all EU data & privacy security standards and internal corporate governance. This new deployment option adds to Kaltura's wide range of flexible existing deployment options, including the company's US-based video cloud, global deployments running on Amazon and Azure, as well as on-premise deployments for multiple global customers. As part of the strategic partnership, SWISS TXT will also resell Kaltura's market-leading education and enterprise video solutions to Swiss organizations.

The joint offering is based on SWISS TXT's cutting edge private media cloud infrastructure named "Swiss media cloud", operated in two fully redundant and disaster tolerant data centers, based in Switzerland and fully compliant with EU security regulations, and featuring full scalability ready to host thousands of virtual servers and Peta-bytes of media storage. It comes with 30Gbit/s of direct Internet peering bandwidth, out-of-the-box integration with popular CDNs as well as 24x7 multi-lingual technical support.
