STYR Labs Launches First of Its Kind Intelligent Smart Bottle to Optimize Hydration and Make Electrolyte Recommendations

The STYR Smart Bottle combines the familiarity of a stainless steel insulated bottle with advanced technology through STYR's patent-pending app to calculate optimal hydration levels based on each user's motion, biometrics and environmental conditions.

In order for consumers to optimize hydration and performance levels, the STYR Smart Bottle offers new features never available before in a smart water bottle. By mining consumption data from each user's body and motion, and using an embedded, touch-sensitive display located on the smart cap, users can easily track daily water intake and manage their electrolyte balance. The STYR Smart Bottle also delivers visual and vibration reminders when needed, and even takes into consideration the geographic location of the user, adjusting for temperature and humidity. It can also account for rapid movement, such as flights, by detecting a combination of "flight mode" on the phone or change in location via flight and adjust for dehydration based on travel time and starting and landing locations.

Thanks to STYR Labs' unique, patent-pending app, the smart bottle is continuously synced with their advanced ecosystem of products (activity tracker and wireless scale), to adjust hydration goals based on activity or body water content. Its proprietary geo-fencing technology also allows the smart bottle to be recognized in more than 55,000 gyms around the country. This means when users leave the gym, they are reminded with a push notification in the STYR app to log their indoor workout for updated hydration goals, which reinforces hydration behaviors while helping users log their important cardio or strength workouts.
