Gfi Informatique is strengthening its capabilities in migration and IT modernisation solutions
Saint-Ouen (France), 1st December 2016 - Gfi Informatique, a major player in digital solutions and services, announced today the acquisition of Metaware. With this deal, the Group is strengthening its lead in digital transformation solutions for legacy applications.
With 20 years of experience and more than 200 projects to its credit, Metaware is one of the leading European players in solutions and services for systems modernisation. The company, which has prestigious customers such as Axa, BNP, Club Med, the French Social Security, PMU, Airbus Helicopters, Caja de Valores (Argentine stock exchange) and Renault, stands out from its peers in that it benefits from unique know-how, combining specialised software tools for code manipulation and testing with hyper-industrialised processes, as well as close relationships with large publishers such as Oracle and IBM. The company consists of around sixty experts and realises sales of between €7m and €10m per annum.
Gfi Informatique intends to focus on business continuity and developing synergies in product offerings so as to leverage Metaware's solutions in order to offer its major customers maintenance and digital transformation of their legacy assets with well-reined in costs, schedules, and risks.
