VA Seeks Contractor to Provide Screened and Cleansed Black Dirt at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - December 05, 2016) - The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, released on Monday, December 5 a sources sought notice for a contractor to provide and deliver screened and cleansed black dirt to Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

The VA released the sources sought notice to determine interest and capability of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), Veteran-Owned Small-Businesses (VOSBs), and Small Businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 212321 to fulfill the terms of the contract. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 Employees.

Contractors interested in this opportunity are invited to e-mail Contractor Specialist Elvira Vann at elvira.vann@va.gov by no later than Wednesday, December 7, the following information:

  • DUNS Number and CAGE Code
  • Name and address of company
  • Point of Contact information (including phone number and e-mail address)
  • Capability Statement that lists related past performance

If the VA receives enough interest and feels it can issue a contract to a SDVOSB, VOSB, or small business, it will release an official solicitation for bids.

To receive the contract, contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database, and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
