QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec. 9, 2016) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec, wants to inform the Gaspe Peninsula population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to pollution and toxicity, in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3 (1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish area:
