Highgate Systems Appoints Aldo Campodonico as Managing Director

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - December 13, 2016) - Highgate Systems Inc. announced today that its Board has appointed Aldo Campodonico as Managing Director of the company, with immediate effect.

A veteran of over 20 years in the financial services business, Mr. Campodonico will assume responsibility for the ongoing management of Highgate Systems, the development of marketing strategies to support its growing business and providing direction to new and existing product development.

With significant expertise in commercial and retail banking, system development, compliance and security, he brings much to Highgate that will benefit its customers. This expertise will be brought to bear on the challenges faced by financial institutions today, with a view to assisting them to improve their operations and build their businesses.

Former Chief Executive Officer John Walton has shifted his responsibilities to the expansion of Highgate's presence in the European market as well as continuing in his current role setting the technical direction for the lending solution. He will also be expanding his role as the leading System Architect for the next generation of Highgate Banking Solutions.

Aldo Campodonico most recently served as Director of Application Development for CIBC, a leading Canada-based financial institution with over 11 million clients; it is a major financial institution by any measure, where he improved critical applications, bringing reliability, new functionality, technology updates and sound product road-maps. Prior to this, he was a Director of Architecture, Development, Quality Assurance and Security at FundServ, the only provider of electronic business services for the Investment Fund Industry in Canada. Part of his mandate was to align IT with business, create a 3 year strategic plan, upgraded the IT infrastructure to support new technologies, improve the application development process following SDLC and implement the use of ITIL and COBIT with IT best practices. Aldo has significant experience in banking, especially in the business of granting credit, having served as Director of International Operations and Support for TransUnion, a major credit information, fraud detection systems and credit information management company.
