Merritt Healthcare Advisors Names Jim Freund Executive Vice President of Business Development

RIDGEFIELD, Conn., March 8, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Merritt Healthcare Advisors, the leading provider of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) services for surgery centers, physician practices and ancillary service providers, today announced that Jim Freund is the company's new executive vice president of business development.

In this role, Freund will lead the sales team at Merritt Healthcare Advisors, which helps clients realize the true value of their assets, source relationships of strategic value and ultimately manage the process of achieving a successful transaction. The company is actively involved in all aspects of the deal, from preparation of the Confidential Information Memorandum to marketing, structuring the transaction, guiding the buyer's due diligence process and advising on the business aspects of the legal documents, including assisting in preparation of all closing documents and schedules.

Freund was selected as SurgiStrategies' "Who's Who in the ASC industry" in 2009 and as a "Person to Know" numerous times by Becker's Healthcare. In addition, he has spoken at more than a dozen conferences and has been a frequent contributor to industry publications. Freund is a graduate of Quinnipiac University's School of Business and has been inducted into the Branford, Quinnipiac University and New Haven Tap-Off Club Hall of Fames.
