Xplore Hosts 2nd Annual Americas Partner Conference with Focus on “Growing Profitably Together”

AUSTIN, Texas, March 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:XPLR) today announced that nearly 50 distributors, platinum partners and authorized resellers from the North American and Latin American regions attended its 2017 Americas Partner Conference. The two-day event, held annually in Austin, TX, as part of the company’s channel development program, was focused on how Xplore and its partners are “Growing Profitably Together” through more unified sales, marketing and service models.

“Xplore is fortunate to have a team of global partners who are mutually committed to customers’ success,” explained Debbie Russo, director of channel marketing, Xplore. “They consistently go above and beyond the call of duty to help us deliver the highest quality mobility solutions and support in the world. And we constantly advocate for our customers to solicit feedback from the field to understand what’s working and what’s not. This conference allows us to practice what we preach.”

This year, Xplore added a series of in-depth training modules designed to help partners move beyond a traditional product-centric sales approach. Moving forward, Xplore partners will focus first on identifying customers’ vertical and workflow-specific pain points so they can build and deliver the most effective mobile solution for each customer’s individual business priorities.

As John Graff, vice president of marketing, Xplore noted: “At Xplore, we’re not just selling products. We’re solving customers’ greatest problems. This year, we wanted to demonstrate how each Xplore platform can be applied to a number of business challenges, technical situations, and unique vertical-specific operating environments. These include not only the category leading XSLATE R12, but also our extremely popular XSLATE B10 and D10 platforms where we are working closely with our partners to deliver an exceptional ROI across a growing list of customers. We also wanted to be sure our partners are asking the right questions when they sit down for a sales or support meeting with the customer so that they are recommending the best Xplore mobile solution every time.”

“The training format and venue created a very collaborative environment. And though Xplore has always been highly responsive to customers’ unique mobility requests, I was impressed to hear exactly how agile they can be to accommodate custom specification requirements for each of their rugged tablet platforms,” noted John Hill, President, Allegiance Tablet PC Experts. “We walked away with the confidence that Xplore has the extensive global resources and extreme flexibility we need to achieve mutual business success as partners. More importantly, we are better equipped than ever to architect complete mobility solutions. Xplore has an extremely strong product portfolio, and we now have a better understanding of how to identify the right feature sets, workflow capabilities, and accessories to serve customers’ best interests now and in the future.”
