AB "Rokiskio suris", Pramones str.3, Rokiskis, Lithuania, 2017-04-06 15:48 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On 6 April 2017, the Board of Directors of Rokiškio sūris AB approved the financial statements for the year 2016 according to which:
The audited consolidated sales of the Group of Rokiškio sūris AB for the year 2016 made mEUR 226.196, i.e. more by 15.11 per cent as compared to the same period of last year. In 2015, the audited consolidated sales made mEUR 196.504.
In 2016, net profit of the Group of Rokiškio sūris AB amounted to mEUR 10.451, i.e. 2.68 times as much as last year. In 2015, net profit of the group of Rokiškio sūris AB was mEUR 3.895.
The increased turnover and profit were mainly caused by the sales to export markets. In the second half year 2016 the global dairy market recovered after the crisis that began in 2014. Consequently, export sales prices and demand increased in the second half year 2016. The demand on the local market was stable, and the prices slightly raised in the end of the year yet they were dropping down in the first half year.
