Scanship Holding ASA : Scanship Holding ASA's ongoing process regarding strategic alternatives


Reference is made to the stock exchange notice of 18 April 2017 in which Scanship Holding (the "Company") announced that it was in exclusive negotiations based on a binding offer from a Bidder to buy all outstanding shares in the Scanship AS and its subsidiaries in the US and Poland, subject to certain conditions being fulfilled, as set out in the offer and briefly summarised in the stock exchange notice of 18 April 2017.

The granted period for exclusive negotiations lapsed at close of business on 5 May.  The ongoing negotiations with the Bidder have not been terminated and continue on a non-exclusive basis.
