Kentwood, MI, May 15, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- During the 2016 holiday season, Innovative Client Connections launched the ‘ICC Cares’ campaign.  Each of the offices throughout the Midwest participated in donating items to the less fortunate members of the community. The team at the corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI sponsored the campaign, while the 11 branch offices supported the program remotely.  Innovative Client Connections created a fun office competition that included several team-building events so that every employee could contribute and participate.  Calvin Fant, Executive Branch Manager, states, “The introduction of our ‘ICC Cares’ campaign was so impactful to our organization, that it is now part of the qualifications for our managers’ promotion requirements”.

“After seeing the outpouring of support from the team here at Innovative Client Connections, we made a strong commitment to continue our community outreach in 2017”.

Ryan VandenAkker is opening the ICC Coast office based in Holland, MI this month. “I am excited to open my office because now I can pass along the same opportunity that I was given.  It gives me a chance to implement all of the training I received,” says VandenAkker about going through the Management Training Program at the corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids MI.

What is so amazing about our company is that once you begin in the entry-level marketing and sales position, you have control over your own advancement”.

Because Calvin Fant went through the Management Training Program himself, he is able to set the standard for future managers and owners. VandenAkker appreciates all of the support and mentorship he received from Fant. “Calvin helped me through the Management Training Program by showing strong leadership. When I was struggling, he coached me on how to push myself to be better; he shared his experience and knowledge about the business, which laid the foundation for success now that I am opening my own office”.  Fant and VandenAkker are collaborating on how to continue the ‘ICC Cares’ campaign at ICC Coast. Adding a volunteer component to the Management Training Program will also be mandatory initiative for all employees and managers in training at ICC Coast.  VandenAkker states, “Giving back and volunteering allows me to share the fruits of my labor with those less fortunate”.  The example that Fant set in requiring community outreach via the ‘ICC Cares’ Campaign will help ICC Coast become a part of the fabric of the community in Holland, Michigan.
