TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 30, 2017) - Evan Siddall, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation's (CMHC) President and CEO, will deliver a keynote address to the Canadian Club of Toronto on June 1.
Under the theme of "No Solitudes: A Canadian National Housing Strategy," Mr. Siddall will advance the idea that affordable housing is essential to a growing economy and to a healthy society. Budget 2017 included historic long-term funding for housing, presenting an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to improve the lives of Canadians and close the inequality gap by ensuring that people have the housing that they need and can afford.
