ITAD suppliers must meet stringent standards and follow specific processes

The rigorous audit process included downstream disposition assessment, business management analysis, as well as environmental, health and safety appraisal.

As an ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition) provider, OEM’s primary responsibilities to Dell EMC customers across Canada include:

  • Onsite removal and logistic requirements for end-of-life IT equipment
  • Directing a full audit of equipment, including serial numbers and tracking of equipment ensuring indemnification for the client
  • Conducting a comprehensive data erasure wipe on all outdated equipment using state-of-the-art Blancco Data Eraser, which provides an absolute line of defense against security breaches, as well as verification of regulatory compliance
  • Refurbishing, reselling or recycling equipment
