Media Advisory: Welcome Hall Mission Thanks Montrealers for Their Generosity and Invites Everyone to its 125th Anniversary Street Party!

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 6, 2017) - At the heart of Montreal's history is the 125-year history of Welcome Hall Mission, the largest doorway to help for Montrealers in need. From the Great Depression to the expropriations that took place during downtown's modernization, as well as through the hippie years and the great waves of immigration, over the years Welcome Hall Mission has adjusted its service offer to help to those in need. For more than a century, the homeless, young single mothers, families, children and youth suffering from addictions have found all the support they need to get back on their feet and take an active part in society again.
