CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - June 06, 2017) - A list of Calgary Food Bank events and community food drives for the month of June.

Purolator Tackle Hunger Week
Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 9
Every year, during the first week in June, more than 10,000 Purolator employees, customers, and partners join Canadians from coast to coast to raise awareness about hunger in Canada. They collect food and funds for food banks across Canada as part of Purolator Tackle Hunger (PTH) Week. All of the donations raised during PTH Week stay in the community where they were raised and benefit the local food bank. Last year, PTH Week raised over $32,000 in food and funds for the Calgary Food Bank.

MINAS Brazilian Steakhouse
June 5-9

MINAS is donating $1 for each sale of their YYC Beer Week menu to the Calgary Food Bank. Head on down to the MINAS Brazilian Steakhouse for some delicious food and help MINAS support the Food Bank.

Let's Eat
June 12-18
Strategic Group has partnered with the Calgary Food Bank for Let's Eat! This is an amazing opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many in Calgary. Strategic Group utilizes their properties to collect non-perishable food items in building lobbies and invite team members, tenants, business partners, family and friends to join this effort to reach out to neighbours in need of a helping hand. Run to Renew
Saturday, June 24 at 10 a.m.
Fish Creek Park - 1441 Bannister Road SE (parking lot)
Join Salopek & Associates as we Run to Renew in an effort to replenish the Calgary Food Bank. Purposefully scheduled half way through the year, during a time when donations are fewer and not at the forefront of people's minds, participants are invited to run and raise donations to help feed Calgarians in need.
