Alamo City Engineering Services Inc. (ACES) Receives Contract to Support USMC’s Network Access Control, Compliance and Remediation Requirement (NACCR)

Firm-fixed price IDIQ contract supports USMC’s network defense strategy.

SAN ANTONIO, June 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alamo City Engineering Services Inc. (ACES), a cyber and information technology company, today announced that the US Marine Corps Systems Command has awarded ACES a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract to support the USMC’s Network Access Control, Compliance, and Remediation (NACCR) requirement. The contract has a $27 million ceiling and expires in 2021.

Specifically, ACES and its team will provide a fully integrated turnkey ForeScout CounterACT solution. The NACCR solution, when deployed, will be the first physical counter measure supporting USMC’s network defense strategy.

The NACCR solution will provide real-time visibility and continuous monitoring of all assets connecting to the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) and will authenticate each asset as it connects to the USMC networks. As a condition for connecting to the MCEN, NACCR will perform a series of health and compliance checks based on established criteria prior to authorizing full access to all network services.

Once implemented, the NACCR solution will bring MCEN into alignment with the requirements defined in the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2017 – Section 1653: Plan for Information Security Continuous Monitoring Capability and Comply-to-Connect Policy; Limitation on Software Licensing.

“ACES is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone Certified, Texas HUB, Small Business and is a ForeScout Gold partner and an authorized ForeScout Managed Service Provider,” said Craig Stephens, ACES President and CEO. “As such we are honored to lead a team which is comprised completely of small business cyber and technology experts who will provide this solution to the USMC.”
