FormFactor Named as a VLSIresearch 10 BEST Supplier of Chip Making Equipment in Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey

Company also achieves #1 ranking as a Supplier of Test Connectivity Systems for 4th consecutive year

LIVERMORE, Calif., June 08, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FormFactor, Inc. (NASDAQ:FORM), an industry-leading electrical test and measurement supplier to the semiconductor industry, announced it has earned places on the 10 BEST list of Suppliers of Chip Making Equipment and Suppliers of Test Connectivity Systems in VLSIresearch’s Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. Rankings are based on direct customer feedback representing the full spectrum of customers, including Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDMs), Fabless companies, and Outsourced Assembly and Test (OSAT) producers.

Worldwide participants were asked to rate equipment suppliers among fifteen categories based on three key factors: supplier performance, customer service, and product performance. FormFactor was named a 10 BEST Supplier of Chip Making Equipment for the first time, in the first year of participation by the Company’s probe systems business in the survey. For the fourth consecutive year, customers named FormFactor #1 as a Supplier of Test Connectivity Systems, a category that is specific to probe cards, test sockets, and device interface boards. FormFactor achieved its highest ratings in the categories of “Partnering” and “Technical Leadership” and was also recognized as 2016 Top Supplier of Semiconductor Probe Cards Worldwide in a report released by VLSIresearch in April of this year.

G. Dan Hutcheson, CEO of VLSIresearch, attributed FormFactor’s sustained superior rankings to the company’s close partnerships with its customers, who need to drive continuous innovation with greater control and fewer economic risks. “This year’s results reflect FormFactor’s commitment to deliver the technology expertise and high-performance products that enable customers to meet market demands, while reducing their overall cost of test,” he said.

“We are honored that in a year where we brought FormFactor and Cascade Microtech together, our customers recognized our continued commitment to customer satisfaction,” said CEO Mike Slessor. “It gives the entire FormFactor team great pride to see our customers validate FormFactor’s role as a collaborative electrical test and measurement partner in the semiconductor industry ecosystem, helping our customers get their devices to market faster. We look forward to continuing to innovate with our customers, producing unique electrical test and measurement solutions to meet the challenges of evolving semiconductor materials and devices.”
