("Devonian" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:GSD) a clinical stage botanical pharmaceutical corporation, announces today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has recently issued Patent #9,555,068, entitled "Oral compositions and route of administration for the delivery of a thylakoid extract". The patent covers the oral delivery of thylakoid extract for treating or preventing a disease or disorder involving the formation of reactive oxygen species and inflammation in individuals. The patent also covers the use of thylakoids as a food or a food supplement, as a pellet, as encapsulated granules or powder.
