CEIPA Business School Selects D2L to Personalize Its Education Programs

MEDELLIN, COLOMBIA--(Marketwired - June 28, 2017) - D2L, a global learning technology leader, announces that CEIPA Business School has selected its Brightspace learning management system (LMS) to reach every learner with an easy-to-use, engaging and personalized learning experience.

The CEIPA Business School is headquartered in Medellin, with an additional campus in Barranquilla and a commercial office in Bogota. CEIPA provides face-to-face and online education in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, International Business, Human Resources, Human Management and Accounting programs. CEIPA is one of the pioneers in virtual education in Colombia, and has been offering virtual programs for more than 17 years. The school has 5,000 students of which 60 percent are virtual.

The institution made the decision to focus on adaptive learning. It spent almost a year researching what adaptive learning means, the impact it would have on students and the best way to deliver it. CEIPA realized it couldn't implement it properly without finding the right technology partner so it reviewed four solutions and selected Brightspace for its real-time analytics, adaptive learning, mobility and blended learning capabilities.

On June 5^th, 2017, CEIPA launched Brightspace at the school and they plan to expand its geographic coverage to reach more students.
