Philadelphia, PA, July 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PolicyPak Software, a provider of Application Configuration Management (ACM) solutions for Windows desktops, today introduced a new Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. Designed to integrate with any existing MDM service including Microsoft Intune, MobileIron or VMware AirWatch, PolicyPak MDM delivers Microsoft Group Policy plus PolicyPak’s additional settings to manage the operating system, browser, Java, and security settings.

Enterprise mobility management (EMM) suites provide policy and configuration management tools for applications and content. However, EMM solutions do not enable IT to manage real Microsoft Group Policy, Group Policy Preferences and Group Policy security settings, to these non-domain joined machines. Additionally, these “always on the go” machines often need extra configuration to manage all browsers, bypass UAC prompts, manage Java and more.

PolicyPak works in conjunction with an existing MDM service to enable Windows 10 machines to accept real Microsoft Group Policy plus extra PolicyPak settings.

“PolicyPak’s technical philosophy is to work alongside your existing computing investment -- we’re not replacing any tool you have, or overlapping in any functionality,” said Jeremy Moskowitz, founder and CEO, PolicyPak Software. “If you have already invested in Microsoft Intune, MobileIron, VMware Airwatch or another MDM solution, PolicyPak makes your MDM investment stronger, and your Windows endpoints more managed, and a lot more secure. You simply add PolicyPak to your existing MDM investment, which enables you to instantly deliver real Microsoft Group Policy settings and PolicyPak’s additional settings which instantly increases your security posture.”
