Orca Gold Announces the Appointment of New Corporate Secretary

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 24, 2017) - Orca Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ORG) ("Orca" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Love as the Company's Corporate Secretary, effective immediately. Ms. Love will replace Ms. Rashida McLean who has been the Company's Corporate Secretary since April 2015.

Ms. Love has over 20 years of experience as a paralegal specialist at securities firms and as the Corporate Secretary of a number of publicly traded resource companies managed by the Lundin Group of Companies. Ms. Love previously held the position as the Company's Corporate Secretary from July 2013 to October 2014, and is also currently the Assistant Corporate Secretary of ShaMaran Petroleum Corp., International Petroleum Corporation and Corporate Secretary Kelso Technologies Inc.
