Veriflow to Present at VMware's future:net 2017

Demonstration to Show How Network Verification Makes Business Intent a Reality for Future Networking Technologies

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 29, 2017) - Veriflow today announced that co-founder and CTO Dr. Brighten Godfrey will present at VMware's future:net 2017 conference on how network verification with advanced mathematical algorithms are eliminating network vulnerabilities and outages. The presentation, "Network Verification: From Algorithms to the Real World" will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel on August 30 in Las Vegas.

Who: Digital transformation demands a new network strategy. Today, everything of value is connected -- from the apps, to the cloud, to the devices, to the users -- and the network has emerged as the critical platform that helps connect everything reliably and securely. Businesses are moving faster than ever to transform their IT to support this new mode of engagement, and the network is required to deliver a seamless and secure experience to customers.

future:net 2017 presented by VMware, brings together those at the forefront in shaping new realities in networking, in which the network is required to deliver a seamless and secure experience to customers. Presentations from technical leaders across different industries will highlight their digital journeys and current state of their networking solutions, while networking leaders at the cutting-edge of new technologies will showcase what's in store for the future.

What: Dr. Brighten Godfrey's presentation will cover how enterprise networks have become complex software artifacts weaving together interdependent devices, protocols, virtualization layers, optimizations, software bugs, and security controls -- often glued together with manual processes. In this talk, Brighten will briefly review key research advances in network verification. Then, based on experience with production deployments, Brighten will discuss what principles of these research ideas persevered, what surprises are encountered, and how verification is solving problems in the real world and laying the foundation for future technologies.

When: 1:50 - 2:10 p.m. PT on Wednesday, August 30, 2017

Where: Four Seasons Ballroom
Four Seasons Hotel
3960 S Las Vegas Blvd.
Las Vegas, Nev. 89119

Why: Veriflow applies a fundamentally new approach to real-time understanding of the network's behavior, protecting it from outages. By applying mathematical principles of formal verification to complicated networks, Veriflow's continuous network verification platform can eliminate network outages and vulnerabilities before they happen by predicting network wide behavior. The platform allows the administrators to guarantee that their business intentions align with what the network is doing in reality. Veriflow technology normalizes and collects a cross-vendor state, enabling advanced analytics as envisioned by the Network State Working Group. The technology also assures it is up to par with security policy as required by the Software Defined Security Working Group.

Interview Opportunities: If you'd like to schedule an interview with Brighten Godfrey before or after his presentation, please RSVP to veriflow@10fold.com.
