Media Advisory/Labour Day 2017: Canada's unions call for universal pharmacare

REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwired - Aug. 30, 2017) - CLC Executive Vice-President Donald Lafleur will be in Regina to speak at the Regina & District Labour Council's annual Labour Day picnic.

This year, Canada's unions are marking Labour Day with the launch of a campaign calling for prescription drug coverage for all Canadians. Find out more at www.aplanforeveryone.ca.

"Even Canadians with prescription drug plans at work are paying more out of pocket for co-payments and deductibles," said Lafleur. "Canada's unions have fought hard to win health insurance coverage for our members. And now we're working to win a universal prescription drug plan that covers all Canadians regardless of their income, age or where they live."
