NimbeLink Taking IoT Show, “From the Workshop” on the Road

Hands-on workshops, providing practical, content-rich information on IoT technology, to be offered in October in Rosemont, Ill., and Minneapolis, MN

PLYMOUTH, Minn., Sept. 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brandon Hart of NimbeLink’s popular From the Workshop video series on cellular IoT topics will host two live, hands-on IoT workshops in October: Oct. 3 in Rosemont, IL. and Oct. 25 in Minneapolis, MN.

The workshop will consist of 3 sections, with each focused on information crucial to cellular IoT device developers.  Topics will range from cellular technologies and certifications to hardware design considerations and methods to speed time to market.

Participants will have a chance to use a working Cat M1 modem and development kit – setting up and sending both basic and more complex code. The workshop is aimed at enterprise design engineers involved in developing cellular IoT products and applications. At the completion of the workshop, the engineers should have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of cellular connectivity for IoT-based applications.

The cost is $25. Attendance is limited to 40 engineers.

The Oct. 3 Rosemont workshop is being held in conjunction with the Sensors Midwest show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Road, Rosemont, IL, 60018. It runs from 10am to 2pm. 

The Oct. 25 show will be held from 8:30am to 12:30pm at Utepils Brewing, 225 Thomas Ave. N., Minneapolis, MN, 55405.
