SAN MATEO, Calif., Sept. 25, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Emergence Capital, the leading enterprise cloud venture firm, announced today that Viviana Faga has joined the firm as an Operating Partner, responsible for advising Emergence’s portfolio companies on strategy, branding, growth, operations and talent recruiting. In her role, she will evaluate start-ups for potential investments and will drive Emergence’s marketing efforts. Faga brings deep SaaS industry marketing expertise to the role, gained from more than 15 years of experience working with leading enterprise brands including Salesforce, Yammer, Microsoft, Platfora (now Workday) and Zenefits.

Faga has more than 15 years of experience designing and building brand categories for successful cloud/SaaS and enterprise social companies, helping them create scalable growth engines that drive successful exits. Prior to joining Emergence, she served as VP of Marketing for Yammer, where she defined the enterprise social category. After Yammer’s $1.2B acquisition by Microsoft, she became its Head of Marketing for Enterprise Social, which included Office 365, Skype and Lync. Faga also spent over six years at Salesforce, where she launched key product initiatives such as the Service Cloud and Chatter.  Additionally, she was the VP of Marketing for Platfora (now Workday) and the CMO of Zenefits.
