B.C. CPA Students Excel in National Exam

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - December 01, 2017) - The Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC) and the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) congratulate the 833 B.C. CPA students who passed the multi-day national Common Final Examination (CFE) written in September 2017. The exam was administered by CPAWSB.

Fourteen B.C. students made the National Honour Roll for their outstanding results on the CFE. They are: Chelsea Bohonis-Schiemann (New Westminster), Richard Dasler (Delta), Thomas Drinkwater (Burnaby), Trevor Hodgins (Delta), Hardeep Kang (Surrey), Cole Leonoff (Vancouver), Lissa Paul (Vancouver), Paramveer Purewal (Surrey), Ryan Slater (Surrey), Erik Vagle (Saanichton), Nico Van den Hooff (Richmond), Sarah Wang (Coquitlam), Jennifer Wells (Kelowna), and Man Yuen (Richmond).

In order to become designated, students must complete rigorous course work, pass the CFE, and fulfill relevant practical experience requirements. The national CFE ensures all Canadian chartered professional accountants meet the same high standards, which are recognized nationally and internationally.
