Expanded feature set provides Web developers and designers file access and transfer abilities across growing number of Cloud protocols.

Köln, Germany, Feb. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FileZilla®, the popular open source file transfer product targeted at administrators, developers, engineers and power users, today announced FileZilla Pro native support for Azure Files and Azure Blob Storage.

The FileZilla product roadmap is continuously expanding beyond FTP-like protocols to allow Web designers, editors, and Webmasters to easily access even more cloud services.

Through new protocol support, users can now access and transfer their files in even more scenarios through FileZilla’s reliable, powerful user interface. The addition of Microsoft Azure Files and Azure Blob storage offer FileZilla users ways to store their data in the cloud:

  • Azure Files provides an SMB interface, client libraries, and a REST interface that allows access from anywhere to stored files.
