Northisle Grants Stock Options


VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Northisle Copper and Gold Inc. Inc. (TSX-V:NCX) (“Northisle” or the “Company”) has approved the granting of stock options to directors, officers, and consultants for the purchase of 2,400,000 common shares of the Company. The options will vest over a two-year period, with one-third vested on issue, one-third on the first anniversary date and one-third on the second anniversary date. These options have a five-year term and allow the holder to purchase one common share of the company for $0.15 cents a share until February 26, 2023.

NorthIsle is a Vancouver based junior resource company committed to the development of the North Island Project on Northern Vancouver Island. The North Island Project is a 33,149-hectare block of mineral titles 100% owned by NorthIsle stretching 50 kilometres northwest from the now closed Island Copper Mine of BHP Billiton, which is located 10 km south of Port Hardy.   • Long 22-year mine life with total production of 1.8 billion pounds of copper, 1.7 million ounces of gold and 55 million pounds of molybdenum
  • Annual production of 82 million pounds of copper, 79 thousand ounces of gold and 3 million pounds of molybdenum
  • Initial five years annual production of 102.5 million pounds copper, 84 thousand ounces of gold and 2.6 million pounds of molybdenum
  • Direct cash cost of production per pound of copper net of gold, molybdenum and pyrite concentrate is CAD $1.17
