Vilnius, Lithuania, 2018-02-28 08:34 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Unaudited revenue of AB K2 LT in 2017 reached €1.33 million, an increase of 2.9% from the same period in 2016.
Expansion of service offering and implementation of a new strategy had an inflationary effect on the Company’s operating expenses. As a result, EBITDA fell to €489 thousand, a decrease of 28.9% compared to the same period in 2016 when EBITDA amounted to €688 thousand. Net profit was €302 thousand, 39.8% lower than €502 thousand generated in 2016.
The number of cremations in 2017 was 3,758, or 1.4% lower than in 2016, when the Company carried out 3,812 cremations.
In 2018, AB K2 LT expects to perform 4,300 cremations and reach revenue of €1,56 million.
