Craig McConnon of the McConnon Group is pleased to announce that Richie Hawtin, Charlotte de Witte, Ben UFO have now been confirmed as part of the third phase line up for the Lowlands Festival. The Lowlands Festival will run between the 17th August 2018 to the 19th August 2018 and is an outdoor, multi day Festival. This is one of the major festivals in Netherlands which features all kinds of music and includes some of the very best Techno DJs of the world.
Craig McConnon added “This year it is going to be a real big year for Lowlands as they host their 26th edition. This year, I understand the festival is hosting 12 music stages as well as a number of experiences and attractions which even include a cinema. In addition to this, they will even have their own on site barbershop and clothing and vinyl stores as well. I have only been here once in the past and I am taking my team to this lovely event and see what we can as a team learn from other leading DJs here. When I last came, the atmosphere was really intense and it was a great run Festival that I have fond memories of”.
The Dutch Festival is one of the Festivals that Craig McConnon and his team will be attending in 2018 and the event sold out a long time ago. The event in 2018 actually sold out month sago and tends to always leave it late until confirming which acts are actually playing. This is part of the secrecy that the event organisers have each year and festivalgoers have always been able to count on the organisers to finalise the very best acts. This year for 2018, we will be seeing The Prodigy, La Roux, 2 Many DJs, Juan Maclean, Basement Jaxx, Moderat, Speedy J, DJ Koze, Drums Of Death and many more who will take to the 12 music stages that they have on offer.

I always think that these kind of Festivals give them a team a good break, they are also a great team bonding experience but even more, they help us to become even better DJs. I love learning from my peers and attending Festivals allow us as DJs to open up our minds and see how other leading DJs are performing. There is going to be plenty of indie, hip-hop and other genres playing so its going to be a great Festival to enjoy”.
The 55,000 guests at Lowlands will be able to enjoy a truly amazing experience and over the years some of the big names that have played at Lowlands including Ben Klock and even Marcel Dettman. Craig McConnon and his team like this even as it offers some different from a typical music Festival. The Lowlands Festival is typically a 3 day music festival but with performing arts as well. So, typically the main focus is on music, which includes rock, pop, dance, hip hop and alternative, but in additional it offers other extras such as an indoor and outdoor cinema, street theatre, cabaret and stand up, ballet, literature and comic strips.
