VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stamper Oil & Gas Corp. (TSX-V:STMP) (FSE:TMP2) (OTCQB:STMGF) (“Stamper” or “the Company”) today announces the resignation of Lutfur Rahman Khan as a Director and Chairman of the Board of Stamper effective immediately. At this time the Company will remain with a vacancy on the board until a suitable replacement is found.

The Company would like to thank Mr. Khan for his many years of service and for his sound advice that he brought to the Board over the years, specifically on assisting with the Company's prospects in Sudan. The Company wishes him the best of success in his numerous business ventures for many years to come.

Mr. Khan will continue to pursue opportunities with Stamper as Chairman of State Group of Companies for which the State Oil Corporation may farm-in up to a 50% interest pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with the Sudan operator on Block 25. State will continue work on Sudan and to identify additional oil concessions.
